Background
The Laboratory for Innovations in MicroEngineering (LIME) is the lab of Dr. Mohsen Akbari, at the University of Victoria, where I completed my MSc. I have stayed on after completing my graduate degree, in order to publish a paper based on my thesis and to work on a couple of other interesting projects. For more on my MSc. visit the tab above.
Multi-Sensor Array
A series of sensors have been developed and tested in the LIME lab, to monitor wound healing. I've designed a circuit board to integrate them all together into one compact system.
Covid-19
The covid-19 pandemic has been a world wide catastrophe impacting every part of our lives. One of my current projects at the LIME lab is to develop a colorimetric assay for the detection of Covid-19. The assay uses saliva as the analyte and is capable of detecting small amounts of Covid-19. This is being developed in order to replace uncomfortable nasal swabs.
